Folks! After a one-year hiatus from the Kansas City gallery scene, I’ll be returning to the Crossroads on October 2nd for a one-night pop-up event to showcase small works inspired by a year-long feature of my work on Andrews-McMeel’s GoComics site.
The project, which ended its run in June and ran alongside creative properties such as Garfield and Calvin & Hobbes, allowed me to expand the narrative of Scurvyville’s sizable cast of oddball characters as well as explore the application of one-panel humor to what started out as a more gallery-oriented concept.
The show will include original hand-painted small works for sale as well as Giclée prints, postcards and merch.
